Learning outcomes:
After completing this course, students will: - have an understanding of the typical problems relating to service industries and to the tourism sector in particular, and will be able to incorporate them in planning models - be able to apply the basic methods of planning and control in tourism management - be able to describe and design fundamental service-specific processes in the tourism industry - understand the basic service-oriented strategies and concepts in tourism and how they are applied (process policies as part of the marketing-mix in the tourism sector)
