Learning outcomes:
The course aims to provide students with deeper insight into the role, function and structure of key areas of commercial law, and to illustrate the main special provisions of commercial law compared to the German Civil Code (BGB). The part of the course dealing with company law will be used to teach students about the structure of company law and to convey a basic understanding of important (European and German) corporate structures.
