Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
The total student study time for this course is 450 hours.

Learning outcomes:
After successfully completing this module, students will have hands-on experience from a real-world professional environment related to the degree they are pursuing. During their practical training phase, students will have the opportunity to apply the theoretical knowledge acquired during their studies to typical engineering fields of work and thus, successfully solve specific problems.

Module content:
During a 3-month period, students will become familiar with the work and operational areas of mechatronics in a company or lab at the htw saar. They will take on specific tasks and work on them independently using the skills and knowledge they have acquired. The internship will be very practice/application-oriented.
