Learning outcomes:
EU regulations for product development and industrial production - 2 hours per semester week: After successfully completing this module, students will be familiar with the practical implementation of European product directives (especially the machinery directive) in the European Economic Area. They will be able to carry out conformity assessment procedures including the CE marking of products. Students will be familiar with the legal consequences of putting defective products on the market or exhibiting them, as well as the legal consequences of defective products that have caused personal injury or damage to property. Occupational health and safety law - 2 hours per semester week: After successfully completing this module, students will be familiar with the legal system of occupational health and safety and the application of relevant statutory provisions. They will be familiar with occupational health and safety as an integral part of a holistically-oriented corporate strategy and will be able to assess the consequences of responsibility and liability in the area of occupational health and safety in professional practice.
