Die Präsenzzeit dieses Moduls umfasst bei 15 Semesterwochen 45 Veranstaltungsstunden (= 33.75 Zeitstunden). Der Gesamtumfang des Moduls beträgt bei 3 Creditpoints 90 Stunden (30 Std/ECTS). Daher stehen für die Vor- und Nachbereitung der Veranstaltung zusammen mit der Prüfungsvorbereitung 56.25 Stunden zur Verfügung.

Lernziele:
Meteorology III: Students will learn the different cloud and fog types as well as the different flight hazards that occur with each type. Students will also learn how precipitation forms, and which cloud types produce which type of precipitation. Also covered are the typical weather occurrences in association with the different fronts. Navigation III: Students will learn to navigate on a given course via the different ground stations and navigation aids on track. Students will also practice and understand the Inertial Navigation System, which will allow for navigation without any ground stations.
