Learning outcomes:
In this module, students will become familiar with the principle of sustainability. In particular, the ecological effects in the product life cycle will be considered. By using, for example, the life cycle assessment, system assessment and functional unit, environmental impacts will be described objectively and comparably. After successfully completing this part of the module, students will be able to evaluate different systems/solutions using appropriate methods and thus support the decision-making process.
