MAIM-310 (P420-0287) International Management, Master, ASPO 01.10.2011 , semester 3, mandatory course
Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
90 class hours (= 67.5 clock hours) over a 15-week period.
The total student study time is 360 hours (equivalent to 12 ECTS credits).
There are therefore 292.5 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

In the course of this seminar students will learn:
- to work independently using existing skills and knowledge coupled with appropriate reference sources to familiarize themselves with a new subject

Teaching methods/Media:
The central concern of this course is the production and presentation of assignments on selected topics in the field of international management. The assignments will be used as the basis for comprehensive group discussion, requiring a high degree of student input. Occasionally, the course will be complemented and enhanced by teaching participants about other specific aspects of international management.
