Workload:
Workload of student for successfully completing the course. Each ECTS credit represents 30 working hours. These are the combined effort of face-to-face time, post-processing the subject of the lecture, exercises and preparation for the exam.

The total workload is distributed on the semester (01.04.-30.09. during the summer term, 01.10.-31.03. during the winter term).
60 class hours (= 45 clock hours) over a 15-week period.
The total student study time is 120 hours (equivalent to 4 ECTS credits).
There are therefore 75 hours available for class preparation and follow-up work and exam preparation.

Learning outcomes:
_ After successfully completing this module, students will be able to recognize and calculate statically indeterminate systems with multiple degrees of indeterminacy. This involves learning and practicing both _manual calculations_ using force and displacement methods and the use of static programs.  
_ When using computer programs, students will be able to recognize sources of error and check results.

_ Statically indeterminate systems with multiple degrees of indeterminacy according to the flexibility method
_ Nonlinear calculations, (second order theory, plastic hinges)  
_ Torsion, shear stresses due to shear force and torsion, shear center
_ Grillage
_ Introduction into deformation method (torsion angle method), transition to the generalized deformation method and to the member stiffness matrix and the calculation methods of structural frame analysis programs.
_ Spatial systems _ Introduction to influence surfaces of elastic plates according to Pucher
_ Introduction to dynamics, eigenvalues of simple systems
