Subarea: Logistics Organization and Controlling After successfully completing this module, students will be able to: - carry out a strategic analysis of the logistics of an industrial or trading company or a logistics service provider, - develop functional logistics strategies, - describe the design possibilities of a logistics organization. - set up a logistics controlling system that contains the following components, among others, Key figure systems (quantitative and qualitative key figures) Benchmarks Process cost accounting Balanced score card Budgeting - evaluate and optimize the efficiency of a logistics unit - explain the essential elements of a quality management system Subarea: Legal Aspects of Logistics After successfully completing this module, students will be able to: - solve legal problems concerning the most important national logistics contracts, - consider aspects of international transport and insurance law, - address and present specific legal problems of logistics.
